IOTA Global Certification Inc. and its Management, Staff, and Sub-Contractors fully understand the importance of impartiality in undertaking Certification Activities. IOTA Global ensures that in all its dealings with clients, potential clients, employees, and other personnel, it is and will remain impartial.

To ensure that impartiality is both maintained and can be demonstrated, the following principles have been established:

• Certificates are only issued after review by an independent, authorized, and competent person who was not involved in the audit, ensuring no interest shall predominate.
• IOTA Global does not offer management system consultancy or any other form of consultancy to companies.
• IOTA Global does not offer an internal audit service to its certified clients.
• IOTA Global does not own or have any financial or other interest in any company that offers certification or management system consultancy services.
• Individuals employed by or contracted to IOTA Global are required to declare their current and past relationships with all companies.
• Auditors and others involved in the certification process shall not be placed under any pressure or influenced regarding the outcome of an audit.
• Any proposed relationship between IOTA Global and a franchise company will undergo a risk assessment and be informed to the Impartiality Committee prior to that relationship being formalized.
• IOTA Global will not allocate an auditor or sub-contractor to a management system audit where any past relationship has existed within the preceding two years.
• Any training offered by IOTA Global is general and public in nature and available to all companies or individuals who wish to attend.
